Snow Pole Body

Colors
Snow Pole colors shall be solid throughout the body.
Where specified, the color shall be stabilized to resist UV degradation.

• Type FO Fluorescent Orange
• Type Y High Visibility Yellow (UV stable)
• Type FY Fluorescent Yellow
• Type R APWA Red (UV stable)
• Type BL APWA Blue (UV stable)
• Type G APWA Green (UV stable)
• Type B Basic Black (UV stable)

Fluorescent colors are recommended for applications requiring the highest visibility.

Packaging
Snow Poles are packaged in bundles of 25 pieces.

Lengths
Snow Poles are available in standard 5, 6, 8, and 10 foot lengths
Custom lengths are available by special order. Please specify lengths required.

Optional Transparent Reflectors
Snow Poles shall be supplied with a transparent reflective tape 1" from one end.
The reflective tape shall be a cube corner micro prism sheeting bonded to a weather resistant clear film so as to provide for daytime viewing of the actual snow pole color and nighttime reflectivity of a white color.
The tape shall be a minimum of 3" wide and wrap completely around the pole, overlapping at the joint.
Reflective tape shall have a minimum brightness of 275 cd/fe/sq. ft.(lux/m2) at 0.1 obs and -4 degrees entrance angles.
The prismatic area shall cover no more than 50% of the sheeting, with the remainder of the area transparent to allow the base snow pole color to show through.
