Pad Printing Hard Hats

To determine the cost of your imprinted hard hat, refer to the chart below. Count the number of colors in your logo, and locations to be printed. Match the intersecting lines and add this amount to your standard hard hat price.

• Plate Charges are $100.000 each. A plate is needed per each imprint color The plate charge is a one time charge and the plates will be kept on file. Any order exceeding 90 units will receive one plate free of charge
• Set up charges are $30.00 per color, per location, per cap style
• Camera ready artwork should be supplied. If New Century NORTHWEST must create or prepare artwork, a minimum charge of $100.00 will be required The definition of camera ready artwork is Black on glossy white or clear background. The image/letters must be Clear and Sharp, and must be exactly what you intend the imprint to look like

Photographic Art (bitmap)
Photographic Art (or Photo Realistic Design) is Art that incorporates scanned in imagery, or art that is built in a pixel based program such as photoshop or photopaint.

Common file extensions for such files are .psd, .tif, .jpg, & .eps.

This includes any art built in a vector-based program, such as illustrator, that also incorporates imported or placed photographic elements. In order to reproduce any submited image, we require a file or scan with a resolution of 300 pixels per inch file at actual size.

Vector Art
Vector Art is art that is built (actually drawn) in a vector or object based program such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, or Adobe Freehand. Each object can be selected and individually manipulated independantly from the rest of the image. Common files extensions for this type of file include .ai, .eps & .cdr.

When providing such files, it is important to convert to curves or create outlines out of all text used. If we have a true vector art file (ie. Adobe Illustrator file with no placed images) resolution is not a concern.
